Our Windows server is in GNax Data Centre, Georgia, Atlanta, US. Can I host international domains with you? Yes. Whatever you want to host. .com, .sg, .cn, .jp, .org, .net... I'm not in Singapore, can I use your hosting service? Sure you can. It just doesn't matter. There's no boundary on the Web. There's no reason you couldn't make use of our service - no matter where you live. How to set up nameserver or DNS of my domain name to point it to your server? Go to your registrar and update the nameservers (DNS) that your domain name is pointing to. We'd suggest you upgrade hosting plan if you use up your storage or bandwidth quota. But if you feel you exceed the quota accidently in a given month and don't really need to upgrade, we're ok with that. The cost for additional storage is S$2/10MB per month, and for bandwidth, S$2.5/GB per month. What if I don't like your hosting service after signing up? We provide 15 days money back guarantee. If you are unhappy with our hosting service any time within 15 days, for any reason or no reason, we refund all your money. No question asked. You can unsubscribe any time after 15 days as well, we will refund pre-paid hosting fees for the months that have not been used. How to get technical support? Please open support ticket in customer support area (requires login), or send email to support@singaporewebhosting.com, we'll get back to you as soon as possible. How does the CPanel work? CPanel is a powerful web hosting management system. More information is available on their official web site: http://www.cpanel.net What payment method do you accept? We accept credit card, bank transfer and SGD check. To reduce admin work/cost and keep our hosting packages competitive, we charge hosting fees annually. What shows up on my credit card statement if I order by credit card? A charge by "PAYPAL SILVERMEDIA". PayPal is our credit card processing partner. They are secure and a trusted authority in e-commerce industry that belongs to eBay. Silver Media is our Singapore registered business name. (RCB No. 53008942D) Can I host adult content on your server? Simply no. How to access control panel? If your domain is live on our servers, you can access your control panel with any browser by typing the following in your browser (replace with your actual domain name): Unix server: http://www.yourdomain/cpanel Windows server: https://www.yourdomain:8443 You will then be prompted account username and password. Your account username and password can be found in the Account Setup Confirmation Email that was sent to you when your account was initially setup. How to access web based email? To access the web mail feature from any computer please go to: http://www.yourdomain.com/webmail How long does it take to set up a new account? Normally within 8 hours after we receive the payment. We'll do our best to activate your account as soon as possible. What if I forgot my password? If you have forgotten your main account password, we can re-send you the password. However, for the protection of our customers we require you to send request from the email address where you initially ordered the account AND administrator email address of your domain name. No matter where you live, where your business is located, we can always communicate effectively via email and online voice chat. We live on the Internet, don't we?
